New Frontiers in Australian Gold
Breaker Resources NL is a Perth-based, Australian ASX-listed gold explorer focused on discovering and developing large new gold deposits hidden by transported cover in Western Australia’s Eastern Goldfields Superterrane.
Breaker identified a significant new gold system at Lake Roe, 100km east of Kalgoorlie, in August 2015 using wide-spaced aircore drilling in an area of thin (5m-10m) transported cover. Three subsequent phases of RC drilling commencing in March 2016 resulted in three separate gold discoveries. The 2.5km-long Bombora prospect is a virgin (greenfields) discovery that is open along strike and depth. It forms part of a 8km-long gold system that is also open along strike within a 550sqkm tenement package. Gold mineralisation at Lake Roe occurs as sulphide-impregnated “lode” and stockwork mineralisation in the upper, iron-rich part of a thick fractionated dolerite. [ read more ]

The Lake Roe Project comprises six granted tenements, plus a mining lease tenement application, with an overall area of ~550sqkm. […]
